Your wedding in Uruguay, told as it happened.

I’m Pedro Lampertti, a documentary wedding photographer based in Punta del Este. I photograph couples who come from abroad to get married in Uruguay: by the sea, among the vineyards or at a ranch in the countryside. No forced poses: I stay close, wait for the right light and capture what really happens.

I speak English and Spanish.

What I photograph

From the first hello to the last dance.

One photographer for the whole story, from the weeks before the wedding to the last song of the night.

Weddings

Full-day coverage, from getting ready to the party. I move like one more guest and never stop the day to ask you to pose.

Destination weddings

You plan from home and I take care of things here. We talk by message or video call, and I coordinate with your wedding planner.

Pre-wedding sessions

A relaxed session on the beach or in the countryside before the wedding, to get to know each other and arrive at the big day with confidence.

Wedding films

A film made alongside the photos, filmed discreetly and edited to watch and share with your family.

About me

Almost invisible, always paying attention.

I’ve been photographing weddings from Punta del Este for more than 15 years, and I bring the same approach to every one: I wait for the real moment, without forcing anything. I won’t ask you to pose. I’ll ask you to enjoy it.

Questions

What couples usually ask me.

How much does a wedding photographer in Uruguay cost?

Every wedding gets its own proposal. Tell me your date, your venue and what you have in mind, and I’ll send you my rates.

How far in advance should we book?

As soon as you have a date and a venue. Destination weddings are planned months ahead, and dates are booked as they are confirmed.

Do you work with our wedding planner?

Yes. I agree on the timeline with your planner so the day and the photos flow together. If you’re planning on your own, I adapt to what you need.

Do you photograph outside Punta del Este?

Yes. I photograph in Montevideo, Colonia and across Uruguay, and if you’re getting married somewhere else, I travel to you.

Can we meet before the wedding?

Of course. We can talk by video call while you plan, and if you come to Uruguay beforehand, a pre-wedding session is a lovely way to get to know each other.

How do we receive the photos?

In a private online gallery, with all the photos edited and in high resolution, ready to download and share with your family.

Do you also make wedding films?

Yes, the film is made alongside the photos. You can watch some on the wedding films page (in Spanish).
